Acoustically designed with angled ceilings and walls, to centre the sound at the front of the mixing desk... ambient lighting creating atmosphere... outlook onto green fields... our control room gives a feeling of relaxation, freedom and inspiration to hone your senses to the music in hand.

Recording through the mixing desk on to a Mac Pro using the latest DAW software. All tracks are then individually routed through the TL Audio VTC all-valve Mixing console adding depth, space and warmth (up to 48 tracks on mix-down). Here, each track can benefit from the valve eq and a variety of classic outboard compressors/exciters/FX to create a unique sound of its own. Mixes can then be automated using our flying faders hui desk to add life and also instant recall if returning to the project at a later date.

We have world class monitoring systems in the Genelec 1038b main system, near-field monitoring in the Genelec 8040’s plus the industry standard Yamaha NS-10m’s.

Our studio is equipped with a 500sq ft + live room, suitable for bands with many players or smaller bands with a huge array of gear. The high ceiling gives a sense of space in the music, and the ambient lighting sets the atmosphere as desired. A huge window allows in natural light and reduces the feeling of tiredness and claustrophobia on long recording sessions.

There is also an individual booth of 100 sq. ft ideal for isolating drums or vocals etc. All visible from the control room.

With a vast array of mics available, we capture the best sound possible for your tracks to be mixed.

A 6’6” Kawai grand piano is kept in pristine condition in the live room and records beautifully through stereo mics.
